The Chariton Construction Academy is a high school program offered in partnership with Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) that provides students with hands-on training in residential, commercial, industrial, and public construction. Students develop essential industry skills, including planning, organizing, problem-solving, communication, blueprint reading, framing, and understanding the various phases of construction. Through real-world building projects, students gain practical experience, strengthen their technical abilities, and prepare for future careers in the construction industry or further education in construction-related trades.
